The Baska mask is a novel supraglottic airway device. We report its use in 19 low risk adult females undergoing gynaecologic laparoscopic procedures. The device had good airway seal demonstrated by leak pressure 40 cm H20. The overall use success rate was 95% with first attempt success rate 68%. Size 4 Baska mask was successful in 74% cases.
